Yep! I would eat that easily. Eggs were a real no no all along with all the hype about them causing cholesterol but the most recent studies say eat them in abundance! Nyom nyom!!

One of the more scientifically informed might post and tell you why exactly they are okay!

btw guys - Aldi have a special on Omega 3 fortified ( free range I think ) eggs - introductory offer of 1.49 I think.

According to Patrick Holford - good eggs are good for you cheap ones are not as the quality is directly influenced by the quality of the feed of the chooks ( makes sense ) - he mumbles on about the cholestrol in bad ones etc, but I didn't read on, so try buy good ones folks ( its better for the chooks too )

I dunno about the others but I would eat an omelete most days, 1 full egg and 5 whites but i wouldnt hesitate to make it 4 full eggs and 1 white. sundays I'll have 3 full poached eggs and spinnach and bacon for brekie. like the others, id easily do 25 and over in a week.

Why do you have the whites only, what happens to the yolks?

to answer both posts. I throw out the yolk. The protein is in both the yolk and white, not sure about the ratio, a large egg as 6-8grams of protein thereabouts. I figure if you have only the white, maybe 4.5gms of protein. so one full egg = 8gms and 5 whites at 4.5gm =22.5 is a good 30.5 or call it 30gms of protein, could be more, there's always different ratios coming out. thats a kinda rule of thumb realy.

as I type im eating a tub of cottage cheese, with walnuts, not bad, or mix In a tbs of peanut butter or flax seed oil. If im trying to grow id eat more steak, beef, eggs and fish if i were you. chicken is always too bland for me. Chilli con carne, oooooh yeaaaah.

I attempted scrambled eggs with 1-2 full eggs and 4-5 whites... tastes like tasteless fluff so I just gave it up. This was before finding out that saturated fat is not entirely bad for you, so now I have 4-5 scrambled or fried eggs a day. Should get my cholesterol tested, I give it a few months and if I'm still alive, I'll do just that.
