Fitness Links

OK, so.... first SERIOUS post!

Has anyone got any fitness links? Weights exercises? Warm up exercises? Recommended stretching? FAQS about number of reps per fitness level? etc. etc.

Gonna stick this and let it build up for a while.

Once we have a fair few decent links, we will edit it into a single categorised locked post and delete this old one.

If you find more links after that that you want included just post em up and we will edit them in.

I'd like a single locked thread of links rather than a 14 page mess of random links.

Cheers,

JAK.

Training routines and Exercise guide

Right - will add to this over time.

For now I'm gonna just plagiarise the existing work at my brothers site tmof.com. It's linked with the uk.rec.bodybuilding newsgroup and he has managed to get a pretty good little resource there.

First link has various potential weight training routines for you. A lot of stuff there, all decent programs that I have gone through over the years. The 'weight' section is coded for intensity 1-5. I can't remember the exact definitions but 1 is low intensity - 5 is high intensity.

Training Routines

Second link here is a fairly cool little animated gif guide to the major exercises, done a fair while ago now, but still good and covers the basics.

Two good sites if ever you need to know the nutritional facts of foods.

An American site with 1000 foods, contains details for Carbs, Protein, Calories, Fat, Saturated Fat and Cholestorol. A lot of the foods are US, but useful site as all 1,000 items are on the one webpage.

CalorieCounterCharts.com

A UK site that lists hundreds (and maybe thousands) of foods - many of them brandnames. Very comprehensive, includes details for Fibre, Fat, Calories, Protein and Carbs. Also has lots of info on health, fitness, nutrition, exercise, etc.
