Copper Alley Bistro, Lord Edward St, beside ChristChurch had a sign in their window yesterday offering free wireless. I don't know if it's a short-term promotion or not. I only saw it as I went by on the bus.

It's illegal and immoral. *boggle* yes, they can "prove it was you" even if you don't live in the area. Please only list legally open AP's.

People have been done for theft in the US after using someone else's Wi-Fi. Not aware of any cases here yet, but as the Guards are aware of people using other peoples' open Wi-Fi for criminal activities (child porn, warez, etc) I suspect it's only a matter of time.

Itsa Bagel, off Merrion Street (down the lane at the Merrion Hotel), says they offer free Wi-Fi, but when I went in a couple of weeks ago and tried it didn't work and none of the staff working could offer assistance.

not to go off topic here...
but does anyone have a simple 3 or 4 step guide to getting a PSP connected to the WEB. can never get it to work.
