I think I'm starting in Kehoe's restaurant next to The Roost next week....I'm scared, never worked in a kitchen before. Ah well, money is needed and jobs in Maynooth aren't exactly easy to find so I can't be too picky.

Erm I think there's a job going there now again, I didn't take it....he is a lovely man but he expected me to know everything in the space of a couple of hours. He knows I've never worked in a kitchen before (I can barely boil an egg!!) and he expected me to be cooking dinners by lunch time. So Au Revoir Mr Keogh.

Anyway, as for other jobs around the village Dunnes usually do a big recruit around two/three times a year, there's loads of pubs an Liffey Valley is about half an hour away on the 66/67a bus-nearly every shop in the place will be looking for staff from September-October onwards for Christmas Staff. Fortunately for me, Ive never had to work more than 3/4 months and be in college at the same time! |
