I think I'm starting in Kehoe's restaurant next to The Roost next week....I'm scared, never worked in a kitchen before. Ah well, money is needed and jobs in Maynooth aren't exactly easy to find so I can't be too picky.

Is it? I don't have a clue why he hired me, I have zero experience in restaurants. He seems like a nice guy though.

lol
thats the first place i told you to look for a job when you moved to maynooth, do you remember?
ted kehoe is such a dote.
you'll get on grand with that one.

i looked for a job there once, he told me he preferred me as a customer rather than as staff!! legend, thats what he is. (does that make sense, i have no idea, in goo goo land...)

Erm I think there's a job going there now again, I didn't take it....he is a lovely man but he expected me to know everything in the space of a couple of hours. He knows I've never worked in a kitchen before (I can barely boil an egg!!) and he expected me to be cooking dinners by lunch time. So Au Revoir Mr Keogh.

Where abouts is that, is it on campus?? A contact would be much appreciated.
Anyway, as for other jobs around the village Dunnes usually do a big recruit around two/three times a year, there's loads of pubs an Liffey Valley is about half an hour away on the 66/67a bus-nearly every shop in the place will be looking for staff from September-October onwards for Christmas Staff.

Fortunately for me, Ive never had to work more than 3/4 months and be in college at the same time!
