I love the list of stuff to do under the 'adult' category....museums etc. Have you never heard of Ellen Street?!

Ellen Street is the one where Quinns used to be (formerly the Vintage Club).

It's also the address of Utopia (Limerick's first adult shop) and some other "adult businesses".

Savage lineup in Dolans over the next week. Kila this Saturday, Declan O' Rourke the following Saturday and Josh Ritter Wednesday. I think it's time to visit that old spot again.

Limerick not that great

I don't know if I agree with the idea of there being loads of things to do in Limerick...I moved back a while ago to buy a place of my own and have to say I have become very disillusioned with the place. It'll always be my home but I think unless you're married with a family it can be a very boring place to be. There isn't any work social scene either as most people drive home after work as opposed to where I was living...and there's only so many times you can visit the hunt museum and the belltable!...although saying that dolans is good if you can get any of your married friends to bother going out!

Keep checking the Dolans, UCH, Millenium Theatre, Trinity Rooms and Belltable websites for upcoming stuff.

Monday nights theres a free movie in the Belltable Film Club on a Monday at 8pm.

There are a ton of festivals this time of year, with many free events, see Limerick Post (as soon as u get it, they usually advertise THAT weekend).

Limerick Lions basketball, next game is Saturday 19th at 3.15 in UL Arena, there'll be lots of giveaways and 'festive fun' during the game.

The Ice Rink is back in the potato market (by city hall) from the 14th.

Theres The Georgian House And Garden, I think its doing something for Christmas too.

Limerick City Art Gallery is right across the road and free.
Also free is the Limerick City Muesum.. beside King Johns Castle.

Also check out the sports listed on the first post. Failing that theres always the bus to dublin!
