Ibis hotel we mostly stay there, it's cheap and 5mins walk to the red cow luas....or stay in. Maynooth At the glenroyal hotel and get the train from there to drumcondra and you miss all the city traffic, stayed there last year and plenty of bars in the town also good Craic round.

Maybe try some of the near Airport hotels - the Hilton in Coolock does a good room rate. Or the Bewleys at the end of the M50 near airport. If you want to hang around Drumcondra after the game there would prob be a good night link service to there or taxi shouldn;'t be too bad. Get on some of the web booking sites and you will see options.
Some hostels do private double rooms for great rates - might be worth a try for City Centre options. Last edited by wow sierra; 01-09-2012 at 23:12. |

Thanks for all your suggestions. Decided to go for Crowne Plaza Northwood and booked the Sunday night also. It was €86 for the Saturday night and €77 for the Sunday night so don't think it is expensive. Probably a bit out of the way but I would imagine only a few taxi runs into the City or a bus maybe. I wanted to book now as I fear prices will only go up after tomorrow's game.

Always stay at Bewleys airport... Had the car parked there for the few weeks away on holiday and flew back in late last Sunday night, could not believe the amount of celebrating Donegal fans still up, some I knew(shouldnt have been surprised they were still up
), some i didnt.... short drive to good parking spots around croker, bus should be handy from here to drumcondra as well...If Mayo win tomorrow, which is unlikely, but hotels will be all sold out in no time if Mayo make it.. |

I stayed at the Maldron CityWest before last years All-Ireland, €50/night drove up late the night before and just wanted a place to sleep really without going inside the M50. If you do stay there make sure you get a room at the back of the hotel as the traffic noise is unrelenting from the Motorway outside.

I really don't get why people are suggesting the likes of the Red Cow, Citywest or Maynooth. If you're going to stay the night, why wouldn't you want to stay somewhere relatively close to Croke Park? Surely you want to go somewhere nearby after the game for a few pints and to enjoy the post match atmosphere rather than having to face into an hour plus journey back to your hotel.
