Hi guys.

I am a 20 year old male who has always being interested in pursuing acting, or any drama of some sort.

I am going abroad studying for the year in 6 weeks time. But I missed the chance earlier this summer to get involved in acting, and would love to get involved in something by the end of summer.

I am wondering if there are any auditions for anything at all, which someone can inform me of.

If no one has prior knowledge, can they give me websites which advertise various auditions?

I would greatly appreciate any help, thank you in advance!

The penny has to drop at some stage. On the downside there are lots of actors in the same boat, and passing on any information just increases the competition. On the upside, lots of people on holiday at present hence the forums are very quiet right now, so there might be more replies over the next few days/weeks. Have you looked at MovieXtras? That's no secret. Or tried amateur drama?

Hi Seen your thread. If you want to get into it then go ahead. Here are some links to some websites that might help you out. I do a bit of acting myself and there is not much going around in a paying way but if you just want to get in and have a go I am sure that you will find something. Also take a look at my website and check out some of my work if you don't mind. Maybe you could leave a comment via the comments box in the blog posts.
