tbh I would be in favour of taking it down. Reduces lag and adds to the secrecy of factions.

I was kicked out of the server no more than 15 minutes ago due to lag or whatever. I log back in, the screen was black and I fell out of the world for no reason. Any chance I can get 3 items back? I forget what else I had.

Not much good to us at all, as long as the factions are willing to tell us where they are, then we can do without it too.

It is useful to see where other faction members are, And to see the general map, But right now I feel like god using it as I can just watch all the other players build away

There have been a couple of people dying to lag issues when logging in. If you have anything valuable in your inventory, put in a chest when logging out for now, as it will not be replaced if you die.

It can be both useful and a disadvantage at the same time. Especially to warring factions.

Can ANYTHING be done about the lag? The amount of times I've died because a mob has killed me that I don't see until a minute later is ridiculous.
