Access to GRO registers-Ombudsman's findings

Not sure if this is significant or not, or if it has any implications?
"Ombudsman finds that restrictions on public’s right to inspect registers of births, deaths and marriages is unwarranted"

This is fascinating (within a nerd qualification) reading! I had no idea she was looking into it and no surprise the GRO does not agree with her findings.
