Best money you ever spent on gear?

Whats the best money you ever spent on gear?.....now boys!...Ha.

Can be anything anything from an instrument to a plectrum.....Not necessarily the cheapest deal, but what makes life easy or better for the money.Or something you couldn't do with out now,but was worth the cash.

Korg Pitchblack
Dunlop Big Stubby 1mm, gone through a ton of picks including the v picks and wasn't comfortable with any others.
Lava cables and George L's, the difference decent cables make is huge.

Once I got a Timmy, it sorted everything. It validated my guitar and amp choices so I'm now content with those, and I added a few pedals around it for colour. Job done.

For now.

Goodall acoustic guitar: play it almost every day - best steel-string I've ever played

Neve 5432 8 channel console: everything sounds great after going through this

Fender Bass VI: cool twangy FX and it works as a real bass too

Prism Orpheus: everything sounds great after going through this too

I'd probably go for the Looper I bought. I think anyone playing guitar for longer than 2 years should be using one. It really helps with your timing and you really start learning the how to nail a part cleanly. It also helps a tonne with creativity too because you can get into harmonies and playing over chords in ways you can't really do when playing on your own. It's a great way to make practicing a little more fun too.

I picked up upper end Takemine a cupla years ago on ebay for about 160 sterling.built like a tank, never let me down yet,and sounds really lovely. gig with it 1-3 times a week now.it was a bit older too, which what I was looking for. I had it paid for in a weekend.

On a lesser note I find these quite handy, for different reasons, female and male.

Nobody i play with ever has them,so I feel like a legend when they're needed,ha.

Tuner as well,of any sorts,as long as some man has one.

Gretsch Anniversary - I got it when the market was at its lowest and it's just a joy to play.

Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh Fuzz - a wonderful fuzz pedal that covers so much ground, so many of the sounds are useable.

Jazz III picks - can't live without them.

Also, a random $5 strap that I got on Music123 about 6 years ago - it has a locking system that clips on to standard strap buttons, keeping your guitar nice and safe without any modification required.

Definitely. Most accurate tuner I've used, apart from a Peterson Strobe tuner but those things cost almost 3 times the price. The display is really clear too, particularly in the dodgy dark stage light.
