I'm awaiting delivery of the 65" model. In the meantime I'm keeping a close eye on owners' comments on AV Forums and elsewhere. Some people seem to be experiencing issues with banding and IR; is that something you have experienced?

Headshot, how do you find the contrast on your set, when I watch tv at night I have to have my 42gt50 on 0 setting
I find the contrast too glary.Graphics, titles, whites etc are all too strong.Ive had it swapped out but its still there,
never came across a tv like this. The contrast at min goes from bright to very bright as you go up.On my previous tv a
Phillips lcd contrast goes from dark to bright, nothing like this.
