3TB HDD not detected at all

My new custom PC wont detect my second hard drive at all and the sata cable is connect I also checked in computer management and the bios and it wasn't there any idea's why this is happening ?

If this is a new build you may have to update the chipset to be able to recognise HDD's bigger than 2.2tb.
I had this issue and there was an update on the Motherboard website.

If you have an intel chipset you should be able to use this update as well.

Check here and it is listed among the latest updates.

My motherboard is asus P8Z68-V LX version 0703 do i need to update the bios for bigger hdd's ?

Goto my link and update the intel driver. You must use this update.
