You're supposed to do this, green means proceed only IF it is safe to do so. Not many people do check though, sadly for the people in the taxi in this case.

This attitude irritates me no end. What? We can't call it for what it is?

He chose to drive that way so it's his victims (yes, victims) who paid the ultimate price for his recklessness.

It's perfectly acceptable to apportion blame here and it is pretty clear that this guy was a prick for killing 3 people.

**** him.

But your attitude achieves nothing though does it?

I'm not sure that I know what that's supposed to mean?

As regards attitude, there was a time in this country when people could have a lash of pints and drive home and nobody batted an eyelid - people's attitudes have changed and now it's frowned upon (mostly) and probably doesn't happen as much.

What's your opinion on the matter?

Sorry maybe 'attitude' was the wrong word, what I mean is sitting here calling him all the names under the sun isn't going to achieve anything.

My opinion is it's tragic, the RSA might want to show this video to teenagers and hopefully educate them.

Well yeah it's most definitely tragic because four people are dead.

The driver of the Ferrari is responsible though and I think it's reasonable to be annoyed by the carnage and grief he has caused.

Those people he killed probably have kids, parents, brothers and sisters who will never see them again.

I think I'd be very angry if it was someone I cared about that he killed.

First off, do you know exactly what happened? Because I don't. It looks like dangerous driving, but it might have been anything from a heart attack to mechanical failure. Whatever about you, I need to know before I apportion blame.

Secondly, i've done the odd dangerous thing in a car myself over the years. I've been fortunate enough never to hurt anyone, but i'm acutely aware that this has more to do with blind luck than any particular goodness on my part. People (and particularly younger men) sometimes do stupid things in cars, the result in this case was a tragedy that abusing a dead man will do nothing to mitigate. By all means mouth off, though, if it makes you feel better.

Videos like that seriously makes me rethink my driving habits and some of the risks I take when it comes to speed.

No and we probably never will because he's dead. We can only assume that it was reckless driving. If we couldn't debate anything without knowing every single minute little detail then we wouldn't have anything to talk about.

Yes as have I. I would fully expect people to call me a prick if I killed people because of reckless driving though.

You call it a tragedy I call it reckless manslaughter.

It's not mouthing off. It's apportioning blame where it should be.
