Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a UK car this friday. It is MOT'd until May 2013. Does this mean it will pass the Irish NCT? What's the difference?

I have worked out the VRT and it should only be about 400 euro. I don't plan on using the car right away when I drive it home, I will leave it parked in my garden for about 2 weeks. How long do I have to get it NCT'd and VRT'd?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
