Nintendo games on wii?
How can i get the nintendo games onto the wii? Like mario and donkey kong, those old games from the 90s? I beleive you have to have a controller to play these games. I got a cheap one of ebay. I hope i got the right one, it has to be connected to the wii remote?

You can buy the games from the Store on your Wii menu when connected to the internet.
Some games will require the Classic controller, or you can use an old Gamecube controller. When you go to buy the game it will tell you if you need the classic controller or the Wii remote. |

...and if you've never connected to the Wii shop before, head over to this thread here and you'll find any number of gannets - myself included - who will sign you up as people they helped so both they and you can get 500 free points (enough for a NES game) for the shop
BTW, if the one you got connects to the WiiMote, and looks vaguely like a SNES controller (+ pad on the left, 4 buttons on the right, 2 shoulder buttons) it's probably a Classic Controller. If it looks like the old PlayStation controller, it's a classic controller pro. Last edited by Banjo; 11-05-2012 at 16:48. |

Cool thanks for the info. I got a mario game and feel quite old. Unfortunely I connected the wii a few months ago to a network and must have went browsing so now they tell me its been longer than 30 days. Will this work if I help someone?
Does anyone remember a game that you had to collect cherries? |

Only one I can think of off-hand. (With the exception of PacMan! )

Bombjack?
Edit - wait a minute, those are bombs, not cherries. No wonder it wasn't called Cherryjack. Last edited by Banjo; 14-05-2012 at 10:30. |

I found out the game I was looking for. It was wonder boy that collected cherries/fruit.
