I'm not 100% sure about LCVP, but in our school it's taken on as an additional 8th subject by people who are taking ordinary level maths. Higher level maths have 7 classes per week and ordinary level maths have 5 and two classes of LCVP. It could vary elsewhere though, I'm not sure.
