I agree but in a side so starved of goals and little other creative options someone with his goal rate is not to be sniffed at, i thought Kenny should have taken him instead of Kuyt off though.

I think he was a bit unlucky tonight, couple of times he anticipated knock ons from Carroll but Fulham defended well.

They are usually just well timed runs he does onto good crosses.

I had forgot Maxi was playing up till the freekick that Shelvey took at the end. Would rather Kuyt than Maxi any day, Dirk gives that bit more.

Of the stream I watched....Aurelio, Coates, Doni, Carroll and Maxi played well for Liverpool.

Maxi was quite good at normal football, picking passes when he could, but he didn't get much chance given there was only himself and or Carroll upfront. Given three are at the back, you can see where the problem lies.

I saw Kuyt controlling a throw-in to him on the halfway line in the second half when he was supposed to be up supporting Carroll...
