The course is very, very, very busy with just the 40,000 people who do have numbers. Do not add to the overcrowding as you'll not be doing anyone any favours. They will check numbers to get into the start area, and you will get bundled off the course at the end if you are not wearing a number...or look like a bloke.
You will find a lot of other events listed in threads
here that you could take part in instead and will be much less crowded and give you the chance of faster times.
