Delta US internal flight
Travelling from Nashville to Daytona Beach in a few weeks and booked a one way with Delta, we stop in Atlanta for 40 minutes and change planes. I understand there is a $25 charge for the bag. Should 40 minutes be fairly smooth to get my bag off one plane and onto the new one? Just worried it won't arrive with me.

Your bag will be fine. Don't dawdle when you arrive. Head straight to your gate. The airport in Atlanta is huge. If you arrive in Concourse A or T, and your flight to Daytona leaves from Concourse D or E, it can be a bit of a trek.

Thanks both of you. I was in Atlanta-Hartsfield in 2003 with Air-Tran but was lucky on that occasion, not much movement if I remember correctly. It doesn't say concourse areas on the ticket but I might be able to do a further search on it.

Delta only tend to use a couple of concourses and there is a train between them that goes about every 90 seconds so don't worry. The majority of people arriving on Delta in Atlanta are transferring flights so it is built for easy changes. Don't worry, both you and your bag should make it.
