I've been looking recently for a 46"-47" LED tv. I have no preference for getting 3d, and I will gladly take a better panel/cheaper TV if it can be gotten without 3d. I called around to a few shops today, and this Samsung UE46EH5000

was one of the nicer ones we saw, for 869 euro in Harvey Normans.
I also saw a LG 47" model with passive 3d which was nice, but I've been reading that the passive 3d screens will have a slightly lower quality 2d picture, so that's keeping me away from that.

However, looking on Amazon, I've found this LG model (http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-47LS5600-.../ref=de_a_smtd) which seems to have a higher spec than the Samsung, no 3d, and for around the same price.
Would anyone have any recommendations between these screens, or any recommendations for any other 46" Led tvs?
