Well we cannot recommend any illegal sites on boards obviously. I suppose your best bet is the likes of Netflix.
With regard to Lesbian movies, I've only seen the one iirc. Saw it a few years ago on TCM or somethin. Think it was called The Children's Hour. It was made over 50 years ago, b/w, and stars Audrey Hepburn. It was a great movie, based in the Bible Belt. I'd strongly recommend it. A movie which was undoubtedly well ahead of its time. Very sad though to see what people had to go through back then in such an inhospitable environment.

Your best bet is to look at the film festivals (such as the Sundance Film Festival), as this is where most LGBT movies get shown at, as opposed to general release in the cinema. They usually get awards in such film festivals as well.

Once you have the name, you should be able to find somewhere that shows it online. Google is your friend Oh, and look for it on youtube: Youtube shows full movies, albeit with a couple of ads thrown in.

For a while now I've thought there's a gap in the market for something like this. I actually went on nexflix and I didn't find it in anyway good and certainly nothing original. If you haven't seen any or the usual films then have a gander at netflix as suggested. Keep your eyes out and if all else fails you may have to resort to what I did and buy them off Amazon!

While not strictly a lesbian movie(or maybe it is, i'm not exactly sure what qualifies xD), i would recommend Finding Amy, brilliant film. And again because i'm not entirely sure what counts as a lesbian film, Monster. It's protaganists are both female and lovers so i guess it counts right? It's based on the true story of serial killer Aileen Wuornos and stars Charlize(sp?) Theron(sp?) and Christina Ricci. These are both amazing films but might not be what exactly what you're looking for, ex. true love/ love at first sight/ fantasy relationships etc. But i would recommend these films to anyone so definitely check 'em out

If you didn't already, watch Tipping the Velvet. Lovely 3 parter.

Third part was quite emotional. In the end I had to turn it off and put on Spooks to give my manliness a boost.

Just looked there and its on youtube if you cant find it elsewhere.

All Over Me is my favorite, but tbh most lesbian movies are really, really awful.

There is a website that streams lgbt movies legitimately but i cannot for the life of me think of the name of it, I saw an ad for it in Diva mag a few weeks ago. I've tried searching for it but all I get is links to porn! I'll keep trying though.

Give youtube a go for lgbt themed films - I saw Water Lilies when it was released but I've seen it on there, as well as La Tourneuse de pages and Tipping the Velvet & Fingersmith.

I think "Elena Undone" is pretty good and easily found online.

Imagine Me & You is a great lesbian movie. Most of my friends would cite that as their favourite.. Also, Show Me Love (Swedish title "****ing Amal") is a really sweet movie too.

But I'm A Cheerleader! is an awesome LGBT/lesbian movie too, if you like tongue in cheek humour.
