and he is totally wrong on England, next best team now to a brilliant Welsh outfit, especialy now that France have put Top14 ahead of 6 Nations.
Stop sitting on the fence washman and say exactly what you think

They won the 6N last year after beating France for the umpteenth time.

By beating France in Twickers. France hadn't lost at home in 4 years.

No. We always lose to England. Like England does to you. And like you do to us. There's some kind of weird psychological blocking...

11 mars 2007 ; Twickenham --- Angleterre – France 26 – 18
23 février 2008 ; Stade de France --- France – Angleterre 13 – 24
15 mars 2009 ; Twickenham --- Angleterre – France 34 – 10
20 mars 2010 ; Stade de France --- France – Angleterre 12 – 10
26 février 2011 ; Twickenham --- Angleterre – France 17 – 9
11 mars 2012 ; Stade de France --- France – Angleterre 22 – 24

1 victory only (by 2 points and it was very close, but as we got the Grand Slam from that win it overshadowed the very little margin in the game and the fact that we choke again against our best enemy) in the last 6 6N games (3 H 3 A). Which is appalling...

Oh I'm aware of that. We've come second all too often by losing on points difference after France beat Ireland, Ireland beat England and England beat France!

But France still hadn't lost a 6N match at home in 4 years!

...Hum... Actually you're right . My mistake. Thing is it sounds so much better like that ("unbeaten at home for 4 years") than "5 defeats out of 6 against England" that I had somehow in mind the idea that your statement could not be true ...

Absolutely.

Some people just don't know what they're talking about unfortunately

Edit: I should really spoiler the injury pic but I'm on my phone so I.can't :/ the man is an Ireland legend for that try alone. I guess a casual fan may not be aware of that though.

If he can be twice the player of the 2001 - 2003 Wilkinson, then happy days for England!!!

Wilko was one of the hardest tacklers in the game during those two years (just google comments about him from other pros, including recently Sonny Bill Williams who called him one of the hardmen of world rugby), kicked every penalty, made the corners, and had a great partnership with Will Greenwood and the other centres. And he did score the odd try! Unfortunately that's all been forgotten because he spent 5 years as a shadow of his former self.

Farrell will hopefully be as good.....but twice as good????

He's in a class of his own among English rugby fly halves - of the last thirty years anyway. In his prime, he was a complete player. Farrell would be very lucky to turn out anywhere near as good.

He wasn't a complete player. Always took the ball too deep and he was shown later in his career when playing behind a weakened English pack in the early Johnson era

Much like Sexton, Farrell has the blueprint for the perfect outhalf
