Walked past the central bank and Pearse St garda station this morning/afternoon. No obvious sign of the protestors anymore. Just some fading chalk writing on one of the sitting areas at the central bank.

I know the person who was arrested, while having an argument about the occupy movement he stated that "if it wasn't handy to get to on the Bus he wouldn't bother" The remaining protesters are really just looking for a place to squat and court media attention.

He should not have followed the Garda around with the sign. How long have the Gardai being allowed to use Pepper Spray?

Not a problem Slydice, the Occupy movement appear to have moved around the corner to the Fownes St offices of the Dublin CITY Sheriff.

The impressively coiffed Occupy orator, outlines their grievance with the City Cheriff here....

Sounds impressive in full flow...but the entire thing is rather diminished by the fact that the Sheriff who actually carried out the eviction which our Occupier is so engaged with,is the Dublin COUNTY Sheriff, who's office is located in a far less occupiable industrial estate on the North side

Of course the Occupiers need to portray the Sheriff as some form of Black Lord who'se sole function is to throw the poor out of their hovels....

Convienently ignoring the reality that the Sheriff is a court officer who is tasked with enforcing a Court Order full-stop.

That lively orator really should pause a moment for reflection before offering himself up as a modern day Daniel O Connell
