We're hoping to build in about 6 months time, asuming bank gives us money!!! 4000sq foot. 5 beds. Not sure about the insulation part yet. But fairly sure it'll be a wood/multi fuel stove with back boiler that will do up to 14 rads, a range cooker (advice on Stanley/Rayburn appreciated) that will have a boiler to do rads and heat water. The top end Stanley can do up to 30 rads and water and cook, but just wondering would it be more efficient to have a seperate oil central heating boiler to only do it and let the cooker do hot water (there will be solars as well). Just wondering which would be more efficient???
