:(Alot of people aren't actually sending on incomplete applications. In my case I actually rang before sending on my application and went through everything I had in to ensure it was correct. I got the persons name and actually quoted it when sending of my application and also stated that I had photocopies of everything that I was forwarding to them and guess what............. I haven't given them enough information
They have told me because my payslips are written that they are no good even though they are stamped (they tried to tell me they weren't stamped until I told them I have the photocopies here as proof) and signed by employer. They have sent on a form to be filled in by employer with my total gross, tax, prsi, usc ect since January. I did already include last years p60 with my application so I can't understand why they would need these, they just said that they did. I haven't claimed for travel expenses to work because it only takes 5 minutes to drive there and they actually want a letter from someone (don't know who) to say that I live that close. I asked them would I get the bloody Mayor to write it out for me It's bordering on farcical now. The reason I'm so annoyed now is because last year we fought for 13 weeks to get a medical card for my Father in Law who had just been diagnosed with cancer. He died 3 weeks after getting the card When I think of the amount of time my husband and I spent on the phone trying to get it sorted and everyone had a different reason for you The worry and stress in caused my Mother in law was heartbreaking. There was even 1 night where she called us instead of calling the doctor because she didn't have the money to pay him and had my Father in Law breathing into a brown bag trying to catch his breath. There used to be a time in this country where people would go out of their way to help someone in need. Now you're just a statistic. The other thing that riled me right up about it all is they sent the form to be filled in first. Then 3 days later they send another letter saying the application is incomplete and has been put on hold and another A4 page with that with the claim number on it as big and bold as can be. Now I'm no einstein but surely they should not be wasting money like that on stamps, paper, envelopes and ink. It maybe only a little thing but if they are doing it with thousands of applications in becomes a big thing. I also suggest that if the "4th floor" where the applications are actually processed is where things go missing then maybe these incompetent employees should be moved to the basement where there is 1 door and no windows so if they misplace something chances are, if they actually bother to look, it hasn't gone too far. ![]() |
:mad:This crap is happening to a lot of people all over the country. There seems to be a black hole in there somewhere and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, nor can it check

The staff in the public sector can say they're overworked, I for one don't believe them, and even if they are, they're are ill people suffering unnecessarily due to their laziness and incompetency. They need to wake up and open their eyes. Their mentality of doing minimal work and winging for extra money has to stop. Justifying their salaries might be easier for them to do, if they carried out the work in a efficient manner or show they have the necessary skills to do something successfully.
Nepotism has ruined this country, we don't have the best people in these positions, only those that got the job because they knew the right person/related.
