I have written a wrong address on an envelope before after putting on a stamp, it is not difficult to fix it, you can just cellotape paper over the name and write it again ( looks like that is what he did with this packaging anyway )

He done this to avoid paying the postage as he did it previously too. He also has no return address on the envelope so he is risking both the games and my payment, or having them turn up and the post man asking me to pay the postage again.

Here is the back of the stamp just to confirm it (Removed by Eddie)
That was me.

I've removed that link as it shows a full name and address. The mods can still see it.

Yeah, I can see what you mean from the pic.
Surely, in this case, a parcel that size would have to be handed in over the counter in a post office? i.e. the post office employee must have thought it was ok or they wouldn't have accepted it?
(I'm not defending the alleged actions of the seller there, just wondering.)

Seller probably reused the stamp that was on a packet they received with the same number of games/dvds. and stuck it in a postbox

I dunno if you saw the pic before Eddie snipped it but it looks too big to go in a post box, that was my point.

Its the thickness of 3 dvd boxes. It might fit in a post box not sure.

Even if he handed it in at a post office I doubt they would examine the stamp up close. They would see a stamp and just let it go. When it gets to the sorting offices it may or may not get noticed, in this case it didn't, doesn't change anything though, he should have paid for the postage, but he didn't. I offered to pay him the remaining 1.50 that I forgot but he didn't reply (perhaps he didn't bother because he wasn't paying for it anyway ) then left me negative feedback.
