I couldn't think of anything else at the time - plus it gave me a giggle

Mickey Mouse always makes me laugh too, with all his wacky hijinks!

An exclamation point is much better than a few numbers though: it's less impersonal and perkier!

Usernames with reference to football teams in them always make me think the poster will be arrogant. I'm usually proved wrong, so I don't know why!

On the other hand (and this isn't a prejudice, more an assumption), I always think anyone with a band-name in their username must be really young (about 13-15).

I don't really like my username, I think the one I wanted was gone so I just typed in anything so I could post. It also makes everyone (wrongly) assume I'm male...

I'm really sorry for the hurt and annoyance my username has caused

How ever can I make it up to you and the community.

What if they are the band in question?

And another thing: putting your age in your username.

Your birthyear is not so bad, as that doesn't change.

But your age...

It reminds me of when I'd see people's Bebo pages saying "Hi I'm ______ and I'm 15 and I go to St. Aloysius' Secondary School!" when they were in college or after!

It's unlikely, really

<band> rock
<band> rule!
I <3 <band>
And then you also get people who slot their own name into bands (not on boards as much as other sites) - Mary! At The Disco etc.

Nothing against it, just makes me think the person is v young.

I mean like my handle is also the name of my musical project.
