I see the Provari has a new version.
Goes from 2.9V- 6V and has a 3.5 amp limit now allowing the use of LR.

Would of thought it be better with wattage control like the Darwin and SvoeMesto.

there's a lavatube v2 coming out soon enough I think. it'll be like 1/3rd the price of this and do 99% of everything it does just about as well

Looks EVEN more like a sex toy than the full size version too.
I'd say the Lavatube has done their sales a bit of damage and they're trying to claw a few quid back.

I'd still love a V2 but their prices are still too elitist for most punters, they would have been better off making a Aluminum version that was less than $100.

Wouldn't be nice if they had only this model altogether....no need for the big brother ... Just 2 additional extension caps - 1 for 18490, second for 18650 ...
Although that would be better for us , not for them ( they do better sales in a way it is now )

definitely looks like a nice device, and the voltage under load is impressive compared to the LT which does drop a bit iirc but with the LT being 40 and the pv being in the region of 200.. yeah if you have the money, go for it but if I had 200.. i'd most likely buy another LT and then a 2tb hard drive
