Now isn't the time for McClean to be called up. With the Euros so close, the team that's playing that tournament need any opportunity they can get to play together. Can see him being introduced after the Euros tho. Plenty of time for the guy to get games.

Now is not the time to be bringing in new faces. This time last year it was all about McCarthey & Coleman and now they're there in the squad.

We've 3 games in 3 months.. Now is the time to get the squad together & organised... I'd hope now, that with that squad as it is, Trap will play about with it in the friendlys.

Try 4-5-1 with McCarthey in the middle for when we're being over run.

Try 5-4-1 when we're trying to hold a lead/block out attacks.

Mess about with the defence.. Foley/Kelly/JOS (RB), Dunne (RCB), Sledge/JOS/O'Dea (LCB), Ward/JOS (LB)

Then to a lesser extent, maybe 4-3-3

But also have Duff/McGeady swapping wings, I HATE them playing on the wrong wings

Theres plenty to work with before the Euros, dont need to mess it up any further.

Trapattoni has spoken to McClean since he announced squad.
Has also said there are 4 or 5 names he has in mind but won't include now because it is too soon... we can imagine who they may be.. anyway hopeful for those looking for new blood after euros

Interesting that out of that squad, only 4 players are in the Championship.

It goes against Traps usual modus operandus but I am glad that he has given the young lad a chance. Shane is a bright hope for the future.

Seem to be ok. Tickets are €20 in the upper stands for adults and €10 for kids which is pretty decent value to be fair.

They were €20/10 all round last week for awhile!

Still a good few left, id say 70% sold so far.

This is what they should have been doing for the Cup of nations last year.

Ah right. Was wondering why he didn't get the nod ahead of Duffy
