When it comes to the beaches, go outside Sopot, Gdansk or Gdynia in order to find even better beaches.

In the meantime, I am from Poznan so it is time to advertise my hometown

Accommodation in Bydgoszcz

I'd like to offer an excellent accommodation for a group of football fans in a private, new and very comfortable house. The house (250m2) with independant apartment can sleep up to 12-14 people. It has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and a garden. Price is very reasonable and location perfect as it's midway between Gdańsk and Poznań (many options to get to the matches) For more info, prices and photo, you can contact me on my email: violawan@op.pl

Lads has anyone booked to stay in the campsite at Lake Malta? We made contact with them after the IFV went tits up but something doesn't seem right. They want all the money within 7 days and their e mails seem a bit dodgy. Could be me being paranoid though. We initially made contact with them via this website http://campingmalta.poznan.pl/ but their e mail replies from camping@malta.poznan.pl have seemed a bit dodgy. Anyone have any dealings with them?

Cheers

My advice would be for people that haven't booked yet to use www.bookingpoland2012.com
I emailed them my requirements and dates and they got straight back to me through an Irish rep. They were very helpful and reasonably priced after that, we booked a hostel in Poznan for 4 nights with them.

For Gdansk you wont get better value or location than the university accommodation which can be booked here:
Just email them your requirements and they will get straight back to you.

http://akademiki.pg.gda.pl/?mod=tf&id=en

We got 10 nights for €300 last week, 4 in Poznan and 6 in Gdansk. Tickets in the bag, that portal is well and truly dead to me

I booked here
http://www.booking.com/hotel/pl/foot...3ad5cf0;dcid=1

They do tents as well as camper van parking. close to the stadium and town...seems ok.

this is the email i used to enquire biuro@leohostel.pl

this is the price he quoted me for the camper

The price depends on how many people come in Your campervan.
Campervan with from 1 to 4 people costs €40 per night.
For every another person there is additional €10 per night.
So a campervan with 5 people costs in total €50 per night.

Anyone else staying in these places?

EuroCamps Poznań (tents)
Pokoje Gościnne Miks, Gdańsk (apartments)
Absynt Hostel, Wrocław

Just wondering if there are gonna be other Irish in the same places (probably in the camp site).

Lads, for anyone using booking.com, ive come across a few places now(im only looking for accomodation in Poznan), that say they are full on booking.com but when you email the the place they actually have vacancies. Not sure why this is the case but id advise you to always send an email with your requirements to be sure, and to be fair most of them reply very quickly.
