I've got bored of it so cancelled my sub yesterday. I still have some performance issues and bugs. Voss was really **** and feels like everything after Act 1 was thrown together.

I stopped logging in so thought it was time to quit.

Still having my client issues and it took an amazing 10 days for them to reply to my last email. The level of tech support offered is actually depressing, I was basically told the issue is with my RAM because a certain memory prefix appeared within a number of my crash reports so they put 1 and 1 together. It took me literally 10 seconds to open a new tab, type in the memory prefix + swtor and find a half dozen links. Even going to the official forums and searching for it pulled up more topics. I'm not holding my breath on them arriving at a fix but the issue I have, hundreds of others have it. My average session without a crash is 10 mins, 15 mins max. I'm in a situation where I won't be looking to renew beyond my 60 day time card (a gift thankfully) not because I don't like the game, simply because I cannot play the game.

If you cannot play due to technical difficulties then they probably will extend your game time.

My initial ticket is open 43 days and counting with this, lost the first free month effectively. Certainly lost the first 2 weeks playing with queues on disconnect! While getting free time would be nice I'd just be happy to play the game uninterrupted.

Just to update my previous post, I got a refund the other day for the cost of the game from origin. This was almost two months after buying the game and playing daily for the first 3 weeks.

If anyone else is very disappointed with the game I advise they do as I have done and get a refund.

Doc, you're almost right but you're actually wrong.

The hardcore elements of wow, the ensdias and the paragons merely represent the wider community. The reason these guys get the airtime they get on forums and on newsites is becuase there is such a large community that has the tools to emulate them and keep up with them. People dont get swayed by them as much as they do the idea of them. They are figureheads for the idea of end game raiding.

There is no such equavalent in swtor for a couple of reasons, first and foremost is that its not as good a game so less people care. secondly, there is precisely zero community due to biowares decision to not allow stuff like addons and the atrocious mess they made of the server forums.

The ironic thing is most of the people in that guild were the same people that bitched and moaned about WoW gone to ****, having nothing to do and having nothing innovative in a long time. The thing with WoW is its a "safe" MMO from years of iterations, mistakes and subscriber feedback so its nice to fall back on.
We bitched and moaned about wow because we were bored with it. Like it or not SWTOR is wow in space. Its basically the same game, the only difference being the levelling experience. Once thats over, its just not as good as wow. not even close. If people are bored with wow, they arent going to stay in something thats not as good.

Everyone will be back to wow for mop probably and quit soon after. Your right, titan is the only thing that can save us!

well just cancelled my sub.

i got up to level 32 on my imperial agent, sort of sad to see it go now, but i cant justify a 12eu per month sub on a game i play once a week.

its a good game, but i guess i just burned out of all mmorpgs. I would kill for that feeling that i had when i played WoW for the first time. when i was going for quest, i was going for advanture and exploration. Now its: "yup, just shut up and point me at what 10 or who 10 to kill".

i dont think its SWTOR problem, its just magic of mmorpgs is gone.

That's the first MMO experience talking m8; most MMOers go through it. The first one is always special; the rest are just another game and you become cynical and bitter like the rest of us

It's why alot of people always compare or go back to wow. It's not that vanilla was stellar, it wasn't......but it was alot of peoples first MMO. The magic just doesn't replicate.

It's why so many call for something different. A new style MMO. People are pinning alot of hopes of guild wars 2 because just reading about it lets you know this won't be a clone.

Just for **** and giggles. Played wow today too. I could play only for 4 mins before I just quited. And went off playing bf3.

I am still looking forward to tera online, but after swtor I will look at it from the side first.

Swtor is great game, but it is just not for me anymore. I feel bad playing mmorpgs now, as i can't give as much time as I used to and I want to play other games instead. And we know that for sure lads: if you play mmorpg, then other games just go in to " newer played " shelf.

well if anyone who's leaving wants to give me their login details so I don't have to go to the bother of paying for the game, that'd be sweet ^ ^.

Just cancelled my subscription, since I haven't played it in about 3 weeks.

Enjoyed getting to 50 but after that what's the point? Playing the same flashpoints over and over to try and get better gear, to play other flashpoints over and over to get even better gear. Yawn.

Won't play another mmo until one comes along that does something different.

Got level 50 inside 2 weeks, had alot of fun with the storyline even though the game was eating my poor laptop alive

Once i got level 50 i did the dailies for 1-2 days 2 of the Ilum ones were bugged and found this extremely boring, then decided maybe to make an alt then realised that the content besides the class parts would be 100% the same so i just stopped logging in.

To be honest i play mmo's for pvp mainly so the lack of pvp content was always going to be an issue, it was either 3 in my opinion warfronts, crap pvp on Ilum or ganking people trying to XP, now for me in a game which has had over 100,000,000 spent on it that is really really dissapointing even if it's just something added as an afterthought.

Also even though the game is limited by it's storyline i feel that 2 realm mmo's are a bad idea as balance will always tilt heavily one way or the other in pvp situations 3+ factions provides automatic balancing, 1 side gets too strong the other 2 gang up on them etc.

There was wayyyyy too much time spent zoning also and not being able to upgrade your ship was dissapointing ><

So went back to dark age of camelot for now while i wait for tera and gw2 and even tried my hand at making my 1st pvp video arr
