Worked for me earlier.

But the base fare was €0.00 to LHR with €19.00 taxes. As such, promo code gave me 20% off €0.00

Return Fare
The discount applies to each leg of the journey of a return trip, outbound and inbound.
Example: 25% off Barcelona – If the customer books a return fare Dublin to Barcelona, they will get 25% off the outbound journey Dublin to Barcelona and 25% off the inbound journey Barcelona to Dublin.

One-way fare
If the customer books a one-way fare Dublin to Barcelona they will get 25% off the fare.
If the customer books a one-way fare Barcelona to Dublin they WILL NOT get a discount.
Note: Discount only applies to fares that originate in Ireland.
If a customer books Dublin to Barcelona and then books Barcelona to Dublin at a later stage they will only receive the discount on the Dublin to Barcelona booking.
