Ford fiesta radio locked

    Hi can anyone tell me how I can unlock my radio for my ford fiesta, I put in the wrong code & now it just says locked when I turn it on. It's a 3000 traffic model.

    According to the Ford Audio Guide(pg13)
    After 10 incorrect attempts the unit will be parmanently lnoperative and 'LOCK 10' or 'LOCKED' will be displayed.
    Contact your Local Ford Dealer for Help;)

    post serial number and i'll give you the correct code and what to do next,
    serial begins with the letter M and will be on the side of your radio.

    sugna. there is no problem to bring your radio back to life. As it is a cassette model the repair is straight forward.

    Thanks for the code mondeoman2 but I can't but the code in as I put in the wrong code a few times and it says locked when I turn it on now, would u no how I can get locked off it?

    So does anyone know how to input the code? I was given the wrong code, locked the stereo out (now it just says LOCKED permanently), got the serial number and now apparently the correct code.

    But I can't input it? Does anyone know how to reset the stereo to input the correct code? ANY help would be UNBELIEVEABLY appreciated!!

    i think you'll need to disconnect it for a few minutes and then try


    (complete guess...kind of alt+ctrl+delete fix in my head.)

    If your serial no. starts with M then there is no problem to get your radio back to life. If it starts with V then it will be a lot more difficult to get it back.

    I have an Opel Vectra... there is a CD player in the glove box... 4 disk changer.. Its locked. I persume it was put in my previous owner. How could I get it unlocked? Year 2000.. I have the radio code.

    i got a hands free kit put into my car and now cant use the radio till i get the code any idea of the code for the serial number MO53287

    Ive had the battery disconnected on my Fiesta. The display shows a * now?
    Can anyone tell me the code for this radio, Its out of a Ford Fiesta CL WT 2010. The serial number on the back of the radio is AV29BR059W
