If they don't show it on TV then they will have a web only stream. They'd be silly not to though. Draws for major tournaments which include Ireland don't exactly happen every day.

I thought the draw was on at 5pm, but it says online that they are showing it on RTE2 from 5.30-6.30pm.

RTE must be skipping all the backpatting.

Been confirmed apparently by FAI that Ireland will not be changing their jersey for Euro 2012. Meanwhile match ball images have been leaked

One presumes it won't snow at the tournament! They have a backup in case something of biblical proportions occurs.

How about "helimachopter"? - that would be a cool name for the football. Well, cooler then Tango anyway...

Well they've been using the name for 33 years now so I'm sure they've considered the alternatives.

BBC covering it. I'd love to see Lineker at all rubbishing their opponents.

A4, and no Germany. All I want (a 1 in 36 shot)...

Less than that. A4 is 11/1. Not getting Germany is a 1/3 shot. 15/1 the double.

I would pick Given personally, but don't forget Hart was number 1 when Given at City so debatable. Two good keepers.

O'Shea v Richards/Johnson
O'Shea is having an appalling season, but even if he wasn't, I'd still probably prefer Richards/Johnson because of their power and pace.

Dunne v Terry
I truly believe Dunne should have played at a higher level than he did in his career, shame. Say what you like about Terry's personality, but he has been a top performer in the Premier League and Champions League for years...about even, IMO.

St Ledger v Ferdinand
Ferdinand isn't as good as he used to be, but still no contest here.

Ward v Cole
An okay, bottom half Premier League full back v the best left back in the world.

Duff v Walcott
Duff is a shadow of the player he used to be, he's still a decentish player but no more than that. Walcott, while inconsistant, is improving (13 goals last season) and would probably tear Ward to shreds with his pace.

Whelan v Wilshere
lol

Andrews v Parker
lol

McGeady v Young
Both very talented players, but Young's end product is better.

Doyle v Lampard/Gerrard
They don't play in the same positions of course, but only the delusional would prefer to have Doyle in their team.

Keane v Bent
Around 2007 Keane was better. Since then Keane's career has plummeted as rapidly as Bent's has soared.

Man for man, we're no match. We would just have to pray the confidence in the England camp isn't there again.

Russia would be just as bad, if not worse, because of their technical game and drawing Germany is the stuff of nightmares.

Our best chance of a positive result from Pot 2 is by drawing Italy, for me - not as talented as England and it's not like we don't have a good record against them under Trap.

I love how Hart actually took Givens place at Man City and left him stewing on the bench for a year watching him, yet Given is still the better keeper according to most people here. That's interesting.
