There are many guys (such as John Fogarty, Bernard Jackman, etc.) that deserve a lot of respect and admiration for playing rugby at such an elite level. Many players are left facing future uncertainty due to career-ending injuries which is often overlooked by both the public and the media. The transition from being so heavily involved in a team to now being left alone is something that can take years to fully overcome..., not to mention the sudden decrease in salary!
