Leeds United Team Talk/Gossip/Rumours

All, as you know, superthreads are causing some problems with the running of boards and the reason is that every 10th post on a thread, VBulletin implements a recount on the number of posts on it to make sure it's correct which has implications for the number of pages and so on. So we will be breaking superthreads into monthly increments where warranted. This is the first of them.

Old thread here.

Have fun.

Ipswich currently losing 6-1 and have had two men sent off which means that's two so far missing for our visit next week.

According to Duncan Castles we're working on a £1m+ deal for Henri Lansbury.

Yeah coverage starts at 1.

Be good to get Lansbury, but Arse may need him.

Big test today to see if we really have automatic promotion credentials, the midfield will be battle will be very interesting. They could play a 4-5-1, with Nolan playing in an advanced midfield position. This could mean that it'll be Brown's job(if playing) to stop his forward runs.

EDIT: YR saying that Brown could be injured....

With Brown out injured it most likely means that we'll have to play 4-4-2 as we don't have a recognised DM. Bruce could play there but he hasn't had any first team action in a while.

If they play with a 5 man midfield and us with a 4 then it'll be hard to win that battle especially with the experience they've got in there.

Also sounds like Forssell could be kept on, Grayson said he looked like his old self in the reserve game.

Official Team News:
---------------Lonergan---------------
Lees-----O'Dea-----Kisnorbo-----White
Snodgrass--Howson--Clayton--Gradel
---------McCormack---Keogh----------

Gradel and Howson definitely back in, only two changes.

West Ham United:
------------Green--------------
O'Brien--Tomkins--Reid--Ilunga,
Noble--Parker--Nolan--Collison--Taylor
-------------Cole----------------

That's a very experienced midfield to go up against, especially with a 4-4-2. One of McCormack/Keogh will have to join up with the midfield I'd say.
