I want to go to Salford on Erasmus. It looks amazing, and there's 3 or 4 Englishy courses that I wouldn't mind having a hop off...

Here's hoping that we both get it...
But I'm sure we will.

Looking back over the last month, I cannot thank my friends enough.

I've been so broke, eating one meal a day, walking 35 minutes in the rain to get to work placement cause I can't afford the bus, never going out...and so many have offered to buy me food, showed up to my house with a bottle of vodka and made me go out, and just been there for me when I'm going through a tough time.

I love my friends so much

1) It's Saturday
2) Studying is going extremely well so far, I've gotten tons done & not really feeling any major stress yet
3) I'll be 18 on Wednesday
4) Family dinner tonight for my birthday - 22 people, all my close family, and I LOVE my family so I'm really looking forward to it
5) We have a completely random day off for my birthday so I'm going SHOOOOOOOPPING!
6) Everything I hear about my planned college course makes it sound even more perfect.
7) My proper birthday party is next Saturday and almost everyone is able to go, including some friends I didn't think would be able to make it.

So basically, everything is awesome.

It's amazing how, I was just sitting in a park in the sun, with other people and a barbeque, and I was happy. For no reason. Just happy. This is what normal people must feel like all the time.

Normal people exist? I thought they only existed in stories

I am officially employed as a trainee chef of a new gastropub that's opened in dalkey.

After 8 months of shíttiness, things are definitely much better!

Meeting all my friends from home tomorrow, then day after that meeting up with a guy I met by chance for a great acoustic jam, seem to be finding loads of new people around UL, even the bus I was on, happily chatting to these American guys who were headed for Dublin. Life is looking up

It's not raining... hasn't rained since around 7 or 8 I think.

Hopefully it stays dry now so it won't be too wet for my match tomorrow.
