I tried to watch the match last night but that silly dog kept drawing my eyes to it and I kept wondering?? , why is it not aligned with scorecard, why does it have to have TWO instead of 2, that would be smaller RTE2, and then why HD when I know its HD anyway and this happens every time. Then I think why wont RTE adopt a high quality approach and listen to viewers, like it would be far better to show the colours of the team on the scorecard than have an intrusive dog, and why not follow the leaders in DOGS ie sky. SKY were made aware that viewers did not like dogs on MOVIES, SKY1, SKY ATLANTIC and result, no dogs, the one on sky atlantic fades out after a few seconds. Then the BCC began HD and dropped the dog but for some inexplicable reason brought it back and then after complaints toned it down, in fact its almost invisible.

Please how can we make RTE 2, 1, TWO , ONE, see sense that DOG is AWFUL and for sports more so. I forgot to add RTE is already on the scorecard so why repeat it.

TG4 listened to me but RTE wont even reply!!

And I forgot to add they show the half time score on the wrong side of the screen!!!!

And to really bug me it goes away during the ads.

Who can I right to who will listen. HD ruined by onscreen rubbish.

an update on this issue.
I sent an email to a senior person in rte(wont name him) and he said its under review. he did say that things may not change, that most people dont know they are watching rte sport(yes he did say that!!!) and thats why they need to have rte sport and rte.
he also stated that just because i am comfortable with saorview epg saying rte2 dosent mean others are. I did point out that tg4 have changed to an excellent position but that was not acknowledged. anyway the senior person said give it a couple of months until its reviewed but my guess is that they will still go for the stupid dual rtetwo logo on the right hand side and rte on the scoreboard as well.
