Woah, let's not all post at the one time about the last ever episode here ok!!

In fairness to the show, it had some great characters and witty dialogue despite some woeful storylines, and the final episode wasn't up to a whole lot. This happens to most shows that run on that long, particularly US Shows, but I for one am sad to see the girls gone. I'd be one of those people who gets attached to characters and am always sorry to see a show I like finish, same as Friends, Frasier, Buffy, Angel, Scrubs, and Sopranos before it. It was always something to watch that both myself and my girlfriend could agree on and made time for on a Tuesday night. Pinning all my hopes on The Walking Dead now, lol

So my wife had the sky box set to record this and for some reason the box crashed or freezed or something that required it to be restarted .End result is it didn't record desperate housewives and I'm being blamed due to having the box full of ,as she said ,"top gear and other crap"

Does anyone know where I can get the last episode online before she literally has a breakdown in front of me and goes into murderous rage.

They used to be on the RTE Player, but last time I checked it wasn't listed, so not sure, I'll ask the missus...

And so it ends after eight years. I first got into DH when my wife was in the Rotunda having our first child in 2004. She was in the hospital for a few days and Channel 4 (I think) had a DH night/weekend that caught up on all the episodes that had been shown (we hadn't been watching it to that point). I started watching it and became intrigued by the Mary Alice storyline and the characters who had the chemistry between them that a hit show requires.
After my wife came home she got stuck into it as well. It was the only programme we probably watch together and agree on. I tolerate the soaps etc but I actually enjoyed watching DH. Despite suffering from the odd bad season and outrageous storylines (Wisteria Lane is perhaps one of the most dangerous places to live despite it being a Norman Rockwell wet dream) we always kept coming back. Have to say I'm a bit sad it's ended. I liked the last episode -- thought it was an appropriate way to end the series. Actually said to the wife when I heard that this was to be the last series that the only way they could end it is to Spoiler: rip the friends apart and have them leave the Lane. Which is basically what happened.
So now myself and the missus have to find another programme we both like to watch. So farewell to the ladies and gentlemen of Wisteria Lane. It was damn fun. Thank you.
