NAS are probably using the first patch as a pilot to iron out any problems. This is all new to them as well.

Ten people starting on the second of July. I think people are hoping that they'll be jobs nearer home. Someone told me that the last person to take up one of the jobs was number 23 don't know how true that was

How are only 10 starting? 16 jobs were available and people on the panel were alerted to the jobs so the highest 16 that expressed an interest were given them. The person that was 23 was probably the next in line if a good few before him didn't express an interest! Open for correction though.....

Ya spot on. Loads of people are holding out for jobs closer to home but don't realize there going to lose any seniority they had.

Dublin jobs are not starting yet. Cork and Galway first to go live

Being a while since I looked at it but as far as I remember you only lose seniority if your made a formal job ofter and refuse, not a job alert. Open to correction on it.

Ya that's with regard to the panel I'm talkin about the job themselves. If for eg number 20 got one of the ten jobs that are starting next month then he would be more senior than number 1 on the panel who might start a month later. This is all good until people go for lookin for transfers etc. This is where seniority comes into it

O right, depends on personal circumstances. No point someone in Letterkenny taking a job in Cork while leaving there partner and kids at home in the hope they might get a transfer closer to home someday.
