I think he'll stay! Unless Levy has been merely trying to bump up his price...

STAY.

I think he'll go, Levy just wants to get a good price for him, 22mil bid from chelsea was a joke (im a Chelsea fan) I reckon closer to 30 million or even money plus a player. It will be hard for Spurs to compete with wages and champions league football being offered to him

Levy on skysports news saying luka modric understands he will not be sold..fair play to levy he's sticking to his gun's on this one.I say fair play to him but he'll have show ambition in the transfer market or i fear he'll be getting a few more knocking on his door to leave.

I think he'll stay. One more season to prove we can get back into the CL or he'll be gone. He may not want to stay, but he signed a massive contract last season, we're in pole position and with Levy playing hardball he doesn't have much of a chance. I don't think he'll do a Berbatov and sulk either.

He'll stay (for now) - I'm sure of it. The ball is in our court. Things might change at xmas if his form is poor and we are not at the races but if we are going well and he is on form then these stories will disappear.

My crystal ball says:

Levy will stick to his guns which if he does I'll buy him an ice-cream but if we don't sign some serious talent by August come January(looking at the fixtuers) we could be really behind the pack and he'll go.

BUT in answer to the OP I'd be fairly confident that he's staying unless someone comes in with an offer that we fan refuse like £40m or something. Levy's language to m dosnt sound like it's about the money.

Why do people still think that Modric is going to go? Levy issued a statement saying that none of our star players were going to be sold this summer. A bid rejected from Chelsea and another statement from Levy saying Modric is going nowhere. Then when Modric meets Levy for "crunch talks" about his future. Levy exits from the meeting saying that Luka understands the situation and will remain a Spurs player because "it's not about the money". Seems pretty clear Luka is staying, my guess would be this is our crunch season. We don't get top 4, he's gone.

i think he will stay for one more year , same as fabregas did. if we win a cup and qualify for champs league then anything can happen but if we dont get champs league then he is gone for sure next season

congrats to levy to not be pushed around

His agent has said it's unlikely that Modric will hand in a transfer request.

He'll stay for at least 1 more year anyway. The real shame in all this is that once again its money and nothing else. We are as close to challenging for the title as Chelsea imo. The new manager hadn't even been named at CFC when Modric said he wanted to go there.

I cannot remember the last time Chelsea outplayed us in a match.
