Anyway (in a similar vein to the 'go for it' attitudes of some of the above) :

from ****MyDadSays iirc

Both terrifyingly bleak positively motivating. A wonderful dichotomy.

We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.

- J.K. Rowling

The world is full of willing people, some willing to work, the rest willing to let them.

Take your points and the goals will come.

Try telling that to a Clare hurling fan this morning

Life is like a game where there is no end e.g. Football Manager or Sims. It can't be completed. Satisfy yourself and try share it with someone who enjoys life the same way you do. Who cares if you piss a few people off or if you fail, like I said, you will die and you will be forgotten anyway. Do what you want to do because when you're an old shrivelled raisin you won't be able to do shít. You have a very small time to live how you want, so just do it and not be a sap.

Edit:
Also as already stated don't worry about the little things or worry about anything other than yourself or those close to you. The world/society is already set and there is fúck all you can do about it. Want to save Africa? Tough shít, you won't. Want to save the animals? Tough shít, you want. The world is made so that the rich remain rich and the poor remain poor. You will never be rich, you might be well off - but not rich. Actually becoming rich is _extremely_ rare. Don't worry about material things because like I just said, you will not be rich. Don't believe everything that you read or everything that anyone tells you. You may as well enjoy yourself because the more you know the more depressing this shíthole gets, it's all about wealth and that's the bottom line. Don't work too hard because what's the point - nobody has ever looked back and said they'd rather work more, if they did then they were dumb. You can work more and get your measly money while most of it goes to the government and in this country most of it will go elsewhere.

Ignorance is bliss, live the dream and have the craic. Don't worry about arseholes, enjoy yourself and piss a few of them off on the way.
Not to be rude but that's a horrible way to live.

I think if you live you your life ignorant you will never actually live.

Listen to people older than you. They've been at this dinner party longer than you and so have a better idea of what course is coming next!*

*don't have to do what they say though!

'There's no one dead!'

My motto in life, anything can be sorted as long as no one has died

'You'll be a long time dead'...

meaning; you only have one shot at life, so loosen up.

Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things

I like the one that goes: If everybody wants something different and there is no way to compromise, then please yourself, that way at least one person is happy and it's you.
