Product Marketing Manager

Level 3 Support engineer (software support, not a sysadmin role)

Software tester

Mixture of Support/Development - would suit someone who has experience in supporting web-based software and has a good knowledge of standard web dev technologies.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time one-year fixed term contract position for a Researcher in the development and clinical testing of an Ultra WideBand (UWB)-based biomedical monitoring system. The successful candidate will work in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering discipline, as part of the Bioelectronics Research Cluster of the National Centre for Biomedical Engineering Science, NUI Galway.

The project aims to commence in October/November 2011, and is funded by the Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Programme. The project is funded for two years, receipt of the second year funding being based on achieving project milestones during the first year. This appointment will be made initially on a one year basis, with the possibility of extension for a further year.

Essential Skills
• A primary honours degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• PhD, Post-Doctoral, or industry experience, in wideband RF analogue circuit (discrete component) transmitter and receiver design, implementation, integration and test for antenna-based systems.

Desirable Skills
• Digital systems hardware and software design and implementation
