Forgot to mention this absolute beast of an Intro,
One of the most epic builds in a sid tune:

One of the comments:

"I remember, when my cousine showed me this intro first time i had to hide in the bathroom, because i was crying.
Crying because of coolness of this intro. I have never seen something so wonderfull on my computer before. I couldn't belive that this is possible on the commodore c64. The other reason was the pride, that i own such a great machine, wich on you can watch so magnificent masterpiece of art."

Must upload the Robocop 3 intro to the tube.

Another nice intro, dark and spine tingling:

And the tune that followed it is equally as good:

Good old Martin Galway.

One of Cave's best soundtracks methinks. Sorry it's not that retro.

Good choice! Though in Final Fantasy VI I confess an undying love for the opera scene and coin song. The piano version from the collection disc is just utterly sensational.

would really have to think hard about this one. not so sure whether you guys would agree that these games have a good soundtrack but every time i play these games the music brings back fond memories of childhood gaming-

the pagemaster
mario bros.
zelda links awakening
super mario kart
tmnt (nes)
duke nukem (ps1)
final fantasy 7

im sure more will come to me!

i suppose i could add gta vice city and san andreas aswell, some good tunes on both games.

Good People of boards.ie...
I give you the greatest musical instrument ever created....

THE CHIPOPHONE!

Capable of reproducing the sounds of your favourite chiptunes from both the NES and C64 sound chips....

And it's not that often you'd see a creator of an instrument play one so well.

Lazy Jones medley Live - featuring the melody used in Zombie Nation's Kernkraft 400, and 99 Red Balloons:

Plenty more performances on his channel, without the heavy Commodore bias from meself.

Was listening to an 80's Italo Mix recently, and randomly came across the Original Rambo Remix that Martin Galway covered,
didn't actually know he covered a remix, i thought he did his own interpretation of the theme from scratch.

Anyway here it is:
