If FG find it difficult to be in coalition with Labour then they will find it impossible to be in coalition with Sinn Fein.
Also, I am not even sure if Sinn Fein want to be in government themselves. |

Who rules what
The Labour party are being dictated to already by the unions and not just any unions. It is more power to civil and public servants now that they are under threat. Why can't the powers that be seek out the lazy deadwood from these high paid safe jobs ?
Labour and Fine Gael will just give us the bicker brothers in Enda and Eamon, it will only be hours before they are nicknamed something like that or E2. Labour want to change the constitution, so do The EU, they cannot wait to get their hands on it and Gilmore wnats to open the floodgates for them. Labour don't want to cut children's allowance so now those earning millions can keep their mickey money. Labour want more women in Government well that is going to open the door for all minorities here. If there is a feeling for more women in government, then more people should vote for women. As for students fees, why should we continue to subsidise students to become barristers and consultants and then get ripped off by them when they qualify ? And if the golden circle have their money back from the gambles they took with the banks, can I have my lottery money back too ? This country needs a shake up alright but I heven't heard one politician address crime in any way nor the fact that Irish people are going away for work and there are thousands of non nationals even non Europeans working away goodo here. The Socialist Party, the Workers' Party and People Before Profit are also All-Ireland parties. You could argue that the Green Party are too.

I don't think its completely impossible but highly unlikely. Maybe if SF had 6-7 seats FG would offer to co-produce a white paper on Irish re-unification and not cut social welfare for a few years.
SF could then argue this was worth giving their support to FG Though they're poles apart on so many issues from health to university fees to taxation its so difficult to imaghine |
