Hi Celt i hope FF are not wiped out tbh, long past the time were they needed to be sent into opposistion though.

Other than FG and Labour though how many are organised enough to run a national campaign?
other than a coup how could that be changed quickly?
i would guess almost all voted honestly or not at all.
having said that i have to revisit my post because my vote is in a diffrient area than were i actually live now

Boards held 'exit polls' for Lisbon 1&2 which were surprisingly accurate.
my 2 cents is an overall majority for FG would be a disaster.

Hi whacker it is a pity IMO that we are in such dire straits that a green agenda is our lowest priority.
FF ran rings around a very naive green party that had no experiance IMO.

they might be wiped out,but that happened to the German greens as well but they came back in the next election.

Green is an idea more than a party, we will be hated in the future for ignoring the problems facing the planet by the people who have to pick up the piece's.

good point clln, i do feel that ff just bullied the green party and this was very clear to the public in the communication or distinct lack of between brian cowen and john gormley, but i just have no faith at all in the green party and there ability to implement any of their policys nationally. I totally agree about the problems facing the planet but this is an issue every person needs to look at individually and try to change imo.

for me in ge11 a change is needed, lets just try it we cannot get much worse than the last 2-3 years . I am really sick of finna fail and there many massive mistakes, but then are any of the other parties going to do any better. i really dont know.......
