I used to live in one of those in Paris, shower, shítter, cooker and sink in the same room. There was a communal jacks that we used to use though, something didn't really sit well about having a crap in the kitchen.

I just spent the last few hours looking for a place to stay in Scotland. Edinburgh is my first choice to rent, but some of the property in the outskirts is actually quite affordable to buy.

The Dublin property prices are quite hilarious. Jesus, we have an unemployment rate of 13% and Dublin isn't that special anyway. A place like Edinburgh is so, so much nicer and superior. The rent seems to be cheaper too. Mad stuff! The deluded Irish property market!

I once stayed in a windowless flat in Hong Kong that was so small the bed took up about 60% of the room. It was about as cheery as a coffin.

They have a different concept of space there. Even when you go to the cinema, its so overpacked with seats, that if you're in the front row you're literally just below the screen and suffer whiplash watching the movie

I am a little disappointed now.
At first glance I thought that was the fridge in the bathroom

...... gross and freaky.

I honestly don't see what you're seeing. I think it's fine. A small house suitable for one or two people, just like it says in the ad. I like it. 700 a month is relatively good too. The washer/dryer have to go somewhere and, as the kitchen is too small for them, the bathroom's quite a good idea. What's the big deal? There are far worse places out there - real sh1tholes.
