Agree, that was one dragged out waste of an episode.
I'm not impressed at all by it.

I thought it was fairly decent. They likely needed to bring things down a notch or two after last week's episode. Hank's a bit of a stubborn SOB which will probably crush or save him. I hope Mike's coughing wasn't anything serious. Jesse seems a bit isolated now, I'm not really a fan of the party scenes, etc and his two main buddies are OK. I guess he kinda needs some distractions to fall back on a bit. I wonder if it will be like the first half of series 3 where things were a bit disparate before coming together really tightly in the second half.
Think the funniest part was that motorised device wandering around Jesse's place. Solid opening scene, too.

That was pretty good, but for an intelligent man, thinking that he could simply walk into Gus' house and shoot him was bloody retarded. Same with thinking he had convinced Mike to get them into a room together. If Mike wanted Gus dead, he'd more than likely be better equipped than Walt to do it. I don't like this bollocks of buying the carwash. **** you and your eyebrows was great, but I didn't expect or want to see him again. He couldn't act before and he still can't.
Overall a fine building episode, but there was no question that Gus would be shot at the end of the episode. Not in the lab and not in his house. And not by way of some contrived meeting set up by Mike. I'm glad he gave Walt a good kicking for that stupid idea |

Breaking Bad always has had slow episodes like this,it was fairly good I thought. Jessie basically throwing a 3 day party to try keep his mind off killing Gayle but just cracking at the end.
Mike and Walter's talk was great,Walt is right though,Mike must be thinking he is expendable. The best part was Walt getting the phone call from Gus telling him to go home. |

AMC has become an absolute behemoth in no time at all really. They're producing, without a doubt, the best stuff on american tv at the moment. Breaking Bad along with Mad Men have to be two of the best current shows and when they finish i predict people wont be reaching for the old favourites like the Sopranos to answer the question, what is the best tv show ever... Although the wire is till epic.
I'd just like to say that every single person in BB is incredible. Walt, Hank and the legend that is Gus are absolutely incredible to watch. I love this show. |

The episode itself slowed things down considerably so we could get an overview of the characters and how the main ones in particular are coping with last weeks major events. Its the characters that make this show and getting to delve a little deeper and closer into them in their current states is my idea of great TV.
Watching Jessie struggle throughout while maintaining enough composure to let Andrea know he expects her to kick the glass and use the money to get out only to see him fall apart alone at the end was heartbreaking. Thought Aaron Paul was amazing this week. Walt at this stage seems quite unhinged and scared. Some great tit for tat stuff in the bar with Mike and with the gun guy. Its like he is still wandering round in a fog from last weeks events and is no longer thinking about anything logically. He needs to get it together and fast. Skyler messed up with the car wash thing. I mean Walt asked her specifically to let him take care of things. She is now going to have to man up with a little bad ass of her own and get the deal done or tell Walt. With Walt already standing on the edge one foot dangling it will be interesting to see how he reacts. Great episode, god I love this show. Oh one other thing I especially liked this episode was some of the really clever quirky camera work throughout. Opr |

Your only legal option is DVDs. I liked seeing Ellsworth. That was about it. Disappointed that we got two slow paced episodes in a row. I guess part of the problem is that I only picked up BB last year halfway through the third season so I'm not all that used to being dripfed filler episodes. Bah |

Wonder what the crack is with Hank and the rocks?
Is it linked to the blue meth maybe or something else........ I do reckon he will somehow hear about the police report though mentioning the notpad and it will give him the push he needs to wake up a bit. Just miss the old Hank !!! |

I'm conflicted where I want to see Walt get his shít together but also want him to hold on to some of his humanity. |
