The following is my personal interpretation: What Rothschild is implying in the above quote is that humanity is the cause of all this pollution. By saying “cradle-to-grave society” he means that we live in ignorance, that we are born, cause destruction on the earth for a number of years, and then die never having done anything good for the world that will have an outstanding positive effect. The emblem of our society is a plastic bottle which he perceives as waste, garbage, pollution, something that is far too abundant and is having a disgustingly negative effect on the world. We are nothing but plastic bottles, plain garbage in the eyes of the global elite, and we need to be cleaned up.
