dental advice : bridges vs implants? ? ?
hey guys i'm 19 and have a long dental bill ahead of me i had 6 crumbled/dead teeth out (no idea how my teeth got into this condition and neither does my dentist) in summer and a root canal treatment and two fillings done.. i asked my current dentist for the cheapest quote possible as i am a poor student. She told me to get the work i've already have done done and then get bridges to cover the gaps ? However I've been told that bridges can only last a short while so would i be better spend more for an implant ?

Implants in general are better in most circumstances because they keep all the teeth separate. However you may not be suitable for implants in which case a bridge would be better. Best to follow your dentists advice if you trust them. If you want a second option you could opt for a specialist like a prosthodontist who specializes in crown, bridge and implant dentistry.
